I don't know if you've heard about the Tech Titan Summit. It is in New York City on September 20, 2017. It starts at noon and runs to 8pm. From its description, it sounds like Shark Tank and American Idol for techies. There is an open bar, and it looks like some real talent will be there. Admission covers four people if you are a company and three people if the organization is an investor. They distinguish between companies and investors---investors are the only parties who can make investment offers to the Tech Gods present---however, if a company has a booth, they can recruit, network, market, etc, as well as review and make investments at the Summit. I put together some cost comparisons of the Tech Titan Summit vs. other conferences and recruiting activities. The economics look compelling.
